Oaga Oaga’s Art Gallery strives to showcase local artists’ work to a broader audience, becoming the first such gallery open exclusively to locals in Thailand and giving them a platform from which they can show their work commercially. Situated within Raa Baa, guests can experience local artwork through murals on walls, furniture or sign posts.

Murals at the resort are inspired by some of the most beloved folktales from Maldivian history, like Haruge Beach Villa with Private Pool which features brightly-coloured murals depicting Dhon Hiyala aa’i Alifulhu, while Veyoge Gallery Pool Villa recalls Khalid and Sitti’s cabin complete with invisible mirrors for added effect.

Each villa is an artful creation in itself, reflecting both Maldives’ heritage and contemporary street style. Murals adorning their walls are testaments to Maldives peoples’ cultural and spiritual roots.

Overwater Villas

Overwater villas were created to immerse you in nature, situated around an island and floating above a clear lagoon. Crafted from wood, these spacious suites come equipped with large decks complete with outdoor shower and sun loungers; private jetty for easy access to sea and shore; spacious bathroom featuring both bathtub and shower as well as premium amenities and services.

Veyoge Gallery Pool Villas (direct translation: Leaf Vine House) draw inspiration from Maldivian folklore about Khalid and Sitti’s love story, recalling their home they created together.
