A 30-minute seaplane flight from Male, this U-shaped island features 39 accommodations divided among two Beach Suites, 30 Water Villas and six Beach Villas – each decorated in an understated yet stylish fashion that mixes traditional island elements with modern amenities for an enjoyable stay.
Beach Villas are our lowest-category rooms; each one includes iPod connectors, open air showers and direct beach access via roped off deck stairs leading to private loungers. These rooms are named after indigenous plants and matched with paintings above-the-bed; our higher category Water Villas swap out beach access for over-lagoon locations with direct ocean access via roped off deck stairs – and boast local fish names that also tie into artwork above-the-bed!
No matter which category is selected, all villas feature polished wooden floors and vaulted A-frame ceilings, along with other amenities such as Bose sound systems and Nespresso machines, flat-screen televisions (though their odd placement makes viewing it from bed difficult), room service options, minibars stocked with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages as well as toothbrushes and slippers available upon request, room service available 24/7 as well as room service availability for guests’ convenience.
Alongside its impressive in-room features, the resort provides guests with world-class activities.
