Spacious studios and villas tucked around an island ringed by two miles of white-sand beach offer furnished patios, ample amenities, panoramic views and modern beach studios in two-story buildings; ocean villas with or without pools; water villas or even larger water villas (some accommodating four guests at once!). Rooms can comfortably fit four guests at once!

All rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, large LED TVs, minibars and espresso machines. Bathrooms are contemporary yet clean; walk-in rainfall showers and soaking tubs. Ocean view rooms also come equipped with private sundecks atop water-level platforms with steps leading into the sea as well as double hot tubs; beach and ocean villas come complete with round daybeds for additional relaxation.

The resort features numerous restaurants and bars, such as two buffets, three a la carte eateries, a coffeeshop, deli and deli-cafe. There’s even a spa, sports center and indoor pool; kids will love Kandiland Kids Club’s splash playground as well as one of Maldives largest outdoor pools!

Kandima Resort is a relatively recent arrival to the Maldives scene and stands out by offering an affordable lifestyle holiday experience that includes meals. Prices begin from just $160 per night on half board (that’s $320 for couples), making their meals part of the package deal.

Dhaalu Atoll Hotel’s tranquil two-mile sand island location, about an hour’s flight plus 20-minute boat ride from Male, adds to its appeal. Staff welcome guests upon their arrival and assist them with transfers for both international and domestic flights.

At this resort, there are three a la carte restaurants serving highly acclaimed fare in stylish indoor/outdoor settings with sea views. These restaurants include a Mediterranean eatery with large glass walls offering views over the lagoon; a pan-Asian spot featuring impressive fish tanks; and a grill where diners can try Australian and South African black angus and wagyu beef cuts as well.

There are also two pool bars and a casual coffeeshop/deli offering food and drinks, plus loungers by both main pools (Breeze and Beach Club) where loungers provide relaxing spots by the water; Beach Club features its own pool bar located nearby Beach Villas; Breeze offers grilled seafood served alongside beverages with live DJ performances throughout the evening.

Flavour is an all-day dining restaurant situated by the main pool that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a diverse buffet selection. In addition, three other a la carte eateries at the resort serve various cuisines; these include Mediterranean food at Azure (open for lunch and dinner) and pan Asian at Zest; while Sea Dragon impresses with full-sized fish tanks and an impressive menu spanning traditional Chinese to contemporary interpretations of its dishes.
